All users contacting us should include, their name, email address, and user name, where applicable and a contact phone number where we can reach them if necessary.

For specific help requirements, please see the following sections:

  • Email Help

Please include your email client (Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Webmail, etc) and if you are getting an error, please include the error message if possible.

  • ADSL Help

Please include your ADSL phone number if it is different from your contact number.  Also please include your IP address if you can.  Windows 95 and 98 users can get this by clicking start, then run, entering winipcfg and pressing enter; Windows 2000 and later customers can get it by clicking start, then run, entering cmd and pressing enter, then typing ipconfig /all and pressing enter.

Also, if possible, please include your MAC address, sometimes described as "Physical Address"; it consists of six pairs of characters separated, usually, by spaces, dashes or colons.

  • Dialup Help

If possible, please indicate the number being dialed in order to try to connect, along with an indication of the error message you're getting.

  • Wireless Help

Please describe as clearly as possible the problem you are having, such as failure to connect, intermittent connections, slow connections etc.  If you are receiving any error messages, please include the message text if possible.

  • Hosting Plan Help

Please indicate the nature of the difficulty you are having, such as failure to resolve your domain, web pages timing out, inability to access your ftp site and so forth.

 

Note to users with routers:

If you are using a router, please indicate this, and, if possible, the MAC address and external IP address of the router; how this information is determined is specific to each model router, so we cannot provide a generic means to get this; if you know how, please include the information with your request.
