Go to top of the page Q:  Configuring Adobe GoLive 4.0

Server:  ftp.imagenisp.com
Directory:  blank
User Name:  your username
Password:  your password

Go to top of the page Q:  Configuring Adobe GoLive 4.0 for Imagen access to a site other than your own

Server:  ftp.imagenisp.com
Directory:  your directory (confirmation e-mail will specify this directory)
User Name:  your username
Password:  your password

Go to top of the page Q:  Configuring IBM NetObjects TopPage 4.0.3

With TopPage open, click Tools, File Transfer

Server Profile Name:  specify an appropriate name
Server Name:  ftp.imagenisp.com
User ID:  your username
Password:  your password
Initial Folder on the Server:  default

Click OK
Close the File Transfer window
Click Site, File Transfer, Site Upload

Go to top of the page Q:  Configuring IBM NetObjects TopPage 4.0.3 for Imagen access to a site other than your default

With TopPage open, click Tools, File Transfer

Server Profile Name:  specify an appropriate name
Server Name:  ftp.imagenisp.com
User ID:  your username
Password:  your password
Initial Folder on the Server:  default  (specify the directory your were sent in the site confirmation e-mail, making sure to preface the directory with this / and not this one \ )

Click OK
Close the File Transfer window
Click Site, File Transfer, Site Upload

Go to top of the page Q:  Configuring LeechFTP for Imagen

With LeechFTP open, click File, Connect

Host or URL:  ftp.imagenisp.com
Username:  your username
Password:  your password
Remote Directory:  
the Server:  default  (if you were told to specify a directory in your site confirmation e-mail, specify it here)

Click OK

Go to top of the page Q:  Configuring Macromedia Dreamweaver 3 Win 9.X/NT/2000

In Dreamweaver click on Site
A window will pop up, click Site, Define Sites
Another window will pop up, click Web Server Info
In the Server Access dialog box select FTP

FTP Host:  ftp.imagenisp.com
Home Directory:  blank (unless you've been told otherwise)
Login:  your username
Password:  your password

Check the Save Box
Click OK

Click Put to transfer the files

Configure you ftp connection per the instructions at this link

Click File, Site Manager
Highlight the site created above and click edit
In the Initial Remote Folder field, specify the directory your were sent in the site confirmation e-mail, making sure to preface the directory with this / and not this one \

Click ok and continue 

Go to top of the page Q:  How do I setup an FTP account?

A:  You can setup an FTP account by filling out the "Web Site Request" form and specifying "FTP" in the "Type of Access" field.   You will also need to enter the "username" of all those individuals who will be accessing the site via FTP in the "Accessed by" field.  You can access the form by clicking "here."

Go to top of the page Q:  I currently use ftp to access my site, but now what to use FrontPage.  What do I have to do?

A:  In order to change your web site from FTP access to FrontPage we need to first be informed of the change.  We require notification in order to set things up for you at our end.

Please - click here - to change your access and enter something to the following effect in the comments field "changing from FTP to FrontPage."

A:  FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol.  FTP is used to transfer files over the internet from one location to another.

A:  There are a number of shareware and freeware FTP programs available.
