E-Mail Configuration of Microsoft Outlook Express Win95/98/NT

Step 1:  To open Outlook Express

Press the "Start" button located on the taskbar, at the bottom left corner of your screen

Click "Programs" on the menu that pops up.

Move the mouse right to the "Internet Explorer" group and then click on "Outlook Express."  This will launch Outlook Express.

Step 2:  Pull Down "Tools," and select "Accounts..."

Step 3
:  Add Mail Account:

Select "Mail" at the top and then "Add" followed by "Mail."

Step 4:  Your Name

Add your name and click "Next."

Step 5:  Internet E-mail Address

Add your "E-Mail Address" and click "Next."

Step 6:  E-mail Server Names

Enter   "mail.imagenisp.com" in both the "Incoming" and "Outgoing" mail server boxes and click "Next."

Step 7:  Internet Mail Logon

Check "Log on Using."  Enter your username in the "POP account name."  In the "Password" field enter your password.  Click  "Next."

Step 8:  Friendly Name

Enter a name that will make it easy to remember this e-mail configuration in the "Internet mail account name" field, and click  "Next."

Step 9:  Choose Connection Type

Select "Connect using my phone line" and click "Next."

Step 10:  Congratulations

Congrats, your done.  Click "Finish."

Step 11:  Internet Accounts

Click "Close," and then "Send and Receive" to verify that your connection is correctly configured.  If you run into any errors be patient and double check that everything was entered correctly.

:  Modify Email Server settings (Only If Required)

Select a Mail account from the "Internet Accounts" window.
Click "Properties"
Select the "Servers" tab
Change the "Outgoing Mail (SMTP)" to mail.imagenisp.com
Change the "Incoming Mail (POP3)" to mail.imagenisp.com
Click "OK"
Click "Close"
Click "File" menu
Click "Close" or "Exit" to close Outlook Express
