There are many different versions and flavors of Eudora floating around, so yours may not look exactly like these screen captures.  If your Eudora screens look different than ours, please be patient, look at the instructions and keep an eye out for similar key areas.

Step 1:  Open Eudora

Windows 95

Press the "Start button" located on the task bar at the bottom left hand corner of your screen.

Click "Programs" on the menu that pops up.

Move the mouse towards the right on the "Programs" menu and click on "Eudora Light."

Windows 3.1

Open your "Eudora Program Group."

Double-click on the "Eudora Light icon."

Open Eudora

Step 2:  Select Options...

Both Versions

Click on the menu "Tools" near the top of the Eudora window.

Click on "Options" under the "Tools" menu. This will bring up your Eudora preferences, options and defaults.

Step 3:  Type "mail.imagenisp.com" in the POP account field

Both Versions

The only thing you need to fill out here is the POP account information.   You will put in your username followed by the “@” symbol and then "mail.imagenisp.com."   Your setup may already have something else after the "@" symbol.  Replace whatever you have with "mail.imagenisp.com."   The SMTP box should be left blank

Type mail.imagenisp.com in the POP account field

Step 4:  Host Settings

Both Versions

The last step is to go to the "personal information tab."   Verify that the POP account is the same as entered in step four.  Enter your "real name" if you wish, but make sure that you put your full return email address in the "return address box."  Your screen should look like the one to the right.

Click on the "OK" button.  Your Eudora Light is setup.
